The Annual Melbourne Flower and Garden Show 2018 – March 22nd to 25th

The Melbourne Flower and Garden show is one of Melbourne’s most anticipated and attended Melbourne community events, attracting over 90,000 people. This year marks its 24th year and continues to grow from strength to strength.

The gardens are broken up into close to 200 different sites, with exhibitors coming from far and wide to share in the show and a great deal of work needs to be implemented to make the show a success. One very important aspect of the event management is the temporary flooring. The integrity of the turf area underfoot is a major concern for organisers. It is paramount the ground is protected and then ready for use again after the event had finished.

No Fuss Event Hire has partnered with Melbourne City Council on several Melbourne International Flower Shows and is proud to provide temporary flooring solutions to bring their spectacular event to life!

Rollout Flooring

Rollout flooring is used as a temporary pedestrian walkway. A rollout pedestrian floor that will contour to any surface, each section is quite small but can be assembled to an unlimited size. This floor is suited for pedestrian access, with the grey rollout flooring in high demand when it comes to the flower show. The green rollout flooring is always a popular choice for exhibitors, as it works very well with the flowers and other garden related displays.

Fastly becoming a very sort after turf protecting / high volume pedestrian walkways. The Supa-Trac was used for the food truck area at this year’s show. This allowed the food trucks and other items to sit on the Supa-trac without affecting the ground beneath it. Kids Under Cover Cubby House

It was also with great pleasure that No Fuss Event Hire donated the flooring to the Kids Under Cover Cubby House Village. Donated was an area of Rollout Flooring and Supatrac to compliment the outstanding cubbyhouse design that had been created. It was a fantastic initiative undertaken by the flower show and No Fuss was proud to be associated with all the other companies who donated their time and products to this worthy cause.

I just wanted to get in touch to say a huge thank you for your support for MIFGS in donating our flooring for our Cubby House Village.  Tristram and his team were awesome as always and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I have attached some images of our site, the flooring looked the best it ever has, we were VERY happy with our finished site.
